David, 50 years old, has been a member of BFC since 1979. He is currently serving in the church Building Committee. David works as a sales manager and his hobbies include reading, sports and music.
Serene, aged 40, has been a member since 1981. She is serving in the music, children, nursery and greeter ministries. She is a housewife who also freelances as an analyst programmer. Her hobbies are reading, sports, music and cooking.
Sandra, who is David’s and Serene’s daughter, is aged 16 and has been a member of BFC since 2002. She is serving in the music and children ministries. She is a student at Paya Lebar Methodist Girls’ School, and her hobbies include reading, sports and music.

Serene’s Testimony
David was brought to church (Jesus Saves Mission) by his eldest sister and he became a Christian at a very young age. He was invited to BFC by Philip Tan (they were childhood friends) shortly after his Air Force days, and has been with BFC since then.
I was first introduced to the Bible in early 1980 by a Jehovah Witness, and was involved in a bible study with her till I was invited to BFC at end 1980. The Lord was truly merciful to me and my family by sending Pastor Christopher Chern (he was not a pastor then) and sister Sui Hoi to knock on my door on 2 different occasions, persistently persuading me to visit BFC while they were doing their door-to-door witnessing. I accepted Christ in December 1980 during the BFC camp, and, over the years, all my siblings – 3 sisters (Cheng Hiong, Grace Chew and Irene Ng) and my mum (Mrs Loi) have also accepted Christ and become members of BFC. We are still praying for my dad to be saved.
Sandra has been attending BFC since birth. She trusted God at a very young age, and was baptized in 2002. She was moved by God and re-committed her life during the 2004 Youth Camp. (Thank God for our committee BFC Youth Ministry!)
The Wang family truly enjoys the warm fellowship at BFC. We pray that the Lord will continue to help us be committed and use us to serve and glorify Him through our lives.
