Diana Koh

Diana, who is in her mid-20s, works as a social worker, counselling children, youth and their family. She loves her work as it gives her great joy to spend time with people younger than herself, as well as the opportunity to explore her passion for arts and the outdoors.

Diana’s testimony:

ppl@bfcI come from a non-Christian family with very supportive parents, nonetheless. I first came to know the Lord through the Christian kindergarten which my parents enrolled me in. I learnt of God’s love and His providence through the simple songs that we sung. Looking back, I believe God places many stepping stones that draw me closer to Him. In primary school, my dad would send me to church camps during school holidays. At the same time, I had a Christian tutor who will tell me many stories from the bible. Subsequently, in secondary school and junior college, I was involved in the evangelistic activities carried out by the Youth For Christ Organization. It was during my stint with Youth For Christ that I accepted Christ as my saviour.

I came to know of Baptist Fellowship Church through Lydia Fan. I was her classmate in junior college, and she invited me to visit BFC after our A’ level examinations. Not having attended any church before, it was initially unsettling to be in BFC: the music and the people were so different from what I was used to in my world. But there is no saying what the Lord has in mind for me. More than 5 years on, not only have I become a member of BFC, I also serve in the children, greeter and music ministries.

Over the past 5 years in BFC, I have grown closer to God and He has revealed to me many truths which I was ‘blind’ to before. I hope to continue to seek His will and walk closely with Him.
