The Kwang Family
Jimmy Kwang, 46 years old, is married to Belinda. They have 2 children, Isaac, 15, and Leah, who is 13.
Jimmy:
We thank God, and we thank Sister Alice for bringing us to BFC, so that we could learn the truth and the Word of God. We want our children to grow up in good environment, so, as the head of the family, I have to set a good example by coming to church. I have been attending Sunday school as well as the Wednesday Chinese Bible study class. From these lessons, I have come to learn more about the truth and the Word of God. I accepted the Lord Jesus as my personal Saviour. My wife Belinda and daughter Leah have also been saved. However, for a while, my son Isaac was undecided about accepting. As a result of fervent prayers by Pastor and the brothers and sisters in BFC, Isaac has finally been saved. This has further strengthened my belief in the Almighty God. Praise be to God!
Isaac:
Hi! I am Isaac Kwang Jun Hao. I am 15 years old…. almost 16. I am a secondary 4 student from North Vista Secondary School. Auntie Alice brought my sister, my mum and me to church when I was in Secondary 1. I thank God, for if not for this, I would not have been saved. Before I was saved, I struggled emotionally, as I was brought up to be self-reliant. My grandparents are taoists, and my parents were not really into religion.
I like to play soccer whenever I can. I also play the violin to de-stress from school work.
Leah:
Hi, I am Leah Kwang Ying Bing. I am 13 years old, and am a secondary 1 student from Paya Lebar Methodist Girls’ School. I want to give praise to the Lord as He guided Auntie Alice to bring my family to church. My family used to worship idols, but we were not really into it. I was saved when Pastor came to my house to preach the Word of God. I learnt and accepted the truth, and have been baptised. I have changed a lot for the better since then, and I really thank God for that.
