Thank God for His love, faithfulness and indeed His mercy in my life and in my family’s. We thank Him for His provisions and His many blessings continually. I came to trust Jesus as my Savior about 6 years ago in Dec 2000. That was my university days when I pondered the issues of life and why we exist and for what reasons. As I visited BFC week after week, God continued to work in my heart song after song, and message after message. Salvation is indeed a step of faith and maturity a journey of faith. Thank God for leading me to Him and also for answering my prayers for sister and parents. I subsequently invited my younger sister, Lena to church. She had been sensitive to God before then and accepted Him readily. We then started to pray for our parents’ salvation and God worked in my mum’ s heart to come for BFC June camp about 4 years ago. She accepted Christ soon after and my dad soon after that. Indeed God’ s plan is for all to come to salvation and we thank God for this promise.
As I continue my journey of faith in life, I often meditate on this verse to trust and focus on God in all that I do, from Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, lean not on thine own understanding, in all thine ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths.”
My prayer request for a few years now has been that God will work in the life of my brother in law, Meng Yew, who has yet to trust Him for salvation. Please continue in prayer for him to be sensitive to the holy spirit and for God to open up a spiritual awareness in him Thank you and God bless!
