Daniel Tan & Family
Daniel is a radiation oncology trainee at the National Cancer Centre and Joann is an English and Literature teacher with First Toa Payoh Secondary School. They were joined in holy matrimony on 31st August 2002. They are richly blessed and contented with all that God has bestowed upon them: a loving marriage, a wonderful family, precious fellow laborers in the Lord, a Christ-loving church and ministry. Most recently, on April 25th 2007, they were blessed with a beautiful and healthy baby, named Sarah (God’s princess).Daniel, a deacon of the church, has had the privilege to serve and grow together with the youth ministry since its inception. He loves the simple things in life: fellowship and iron-sharpening over tea; sweet private communion with the Lord, and any ministry opportunities the Lord provides to share His word and His love. He determines to be fully given to the cause of Christ, to preach the Word and to defend the holy faith till the day God calls him home.
Joann, together with Daniel, serves in the Youth Ministry as well as the Bible Study ministry. Like her husband, she enjoys the simple things in life, shares a penchant for the outdoors and nature, and cherishes godly fellowship. Her desire is to live a consistent life that honours and glorifies God within and without church.
Together with Sarah, they seek to pursue, love and serve the Lord in all aspects of their lives, be it in work, at home, in church and in their ministries. They praise and thank the Lord that He has proved Himself to be faithful over and over again throughout our lives.
