Our Pastor
Greetings,
Being the Pastor of Baptist Fellowship Church, Singapore is not only challenging but rewarding and often fun too. It is a real joy to work with such a great group of Christian believers as we seek to honour the Lord Jesus. I have been the Pastor here since 1994. I graduated from International Baptist College in Tempe Arizona USA with M.A. in Biblical Studies. I was ordained in 1997. Prior to this I was working for Hongkong Bank.
My wife, Diana, and I were married on the 23rd of May, 1986. Diana worked in Hongkong Bank before my calling to the pastorate, but now is a Home maker. She is actively helping me in the ministries, especially in the visitation and Chinese ministry. We have two daughters: Charissa and Cheryl.
The church and family both keep me pretty busy, but I do find time for a few other activities. My favourite sport is Table Tennis and I am doing some jogging now. Though I am in no way a musician (as anyone in our congregation can attest), I do enjoy listening to music. I hope to be able to sing as beautifully as the choir does.
My prayer is that God would fill me with a zeal for His glory and enable me to boldly and effectively proclaim the truth of His Word. Also, I pray that He would give me a greater passion to see people everywhere become followers of Jesus Christ and increase my love for the people that God has called me to serve and shepherd..
